This morning your guides will meet you at our gateway accommodation in Reno, Nevada. After a quick meet-and-greet, your guides will get everyone loaded up and begin the drive to one of North America’s most spectacular places – Yosemite National Park! Once entering the park, we will explore some of the amazing scenery that makes this park iconic around the world – granite monoliths, towering waterfalls, and some of the largest trees that exist on the planet.
In the evening we head to our tranquil campsite where your guides will provide you with all the camping gear necessary, show you how to set up tents, then let you get settled in as they cook up a hot meal. Relax by the campfire before snuggling into your top rated camping gear.

This morning, awaken to hot coffee and breakfast provided by your guides and prepare for a full day of adventure. Due to our proximity, one of our favorite places to explore is a section of Yosemite called Hetch Hetchy Reservoir. This reservoir provides water to San Francisco and greater Bay Area. Hike to impressive waterfalls and enjoy the towering granite monoliths that rise nearly 3,000 feet above the Hetch Hetchy Reservoir. This afternoon we plan to explore the Yosemite Valley to take in sites and sounds, including views of El Capitan, Half Dome, and Yosemite Falls (North America’s tallest waterfall at 2,450 feet high).

We plan to spend the majority of today in the Yosemite Valley. Yosemite Valley offers several options for long, extended hiking trails. One of our favorite trails in the valley takes us to two of the park’s famous year-round waterfalls, Vernal & Nevada Falls. This afternoon we will have leisure time in the valley to relax along the Merced River, which has many small beaches with stunning views. We’ll return to camp this evening for another freshly prepared meal by your guides.

This evening we’ll plan on an included dinner and amazing sunset views.
