Departing this morning from Salt Lake City, we’ll journey from the snow-capped granite peaks of the Wasatch Mountains to the red rock canyons of southern Utah. Our guides will share fascinating narratives about the region’s geological history, indigenous cultures, and intricate ecosystem. We’ll stop for lunch along the way before heading to Arches National Park.
Arches is home to over 2,000 natural arches—the most found anywhere in the world. Plan to explore the Devil’s Garden area, where we’ll see a wide assortment of arches, including the longest in the park, Landscape Arch, at 306 feet! After entering, we’ll hike to Landscape Arch, one of the most iconic in the park. This moderate hike will give us a sneak peek of the park before we return the following day.
After our hike, we’ll settle in at Moab Springs Ranch—a boutique oasis tucked beneath towering red cliffs and cottonwood trees. Located just minutes from Arches and downtown Moab, the Ranch blends history, comfort, and natural beauty. You’ll enjoy peaceful surroundings with flowing springs, shaded hammocks, and inviting pools—perfect for unwinding after a day of adventure.
This evening, join the group for a delicious dinner on us and take in the sights and sounds of Moab’s high desert under the stars.

Today, we venture into the iconic Arches National Park, a geological wonderland where nature’s artistry is on full display. Our journey begins with a challenging yet rewarding hike to the world-famous Delicate Arch. Standing beneath this natural masterpiece, you’ll be awestruck by its grandeur and experience a sense of wonder that will last a lifetime. After our hike, we’ll take a scenic drive through the park, soaking in breathtaking views of towering rock formations and vibrant desert landscapes. We’ll stop for a leisurely picnic lunch surrounded by tall, thin, vertical slabs of rock known as “fins.” Our exploration continues with visits to the Windows Section and Double Arch.
We’ll then leave the park and head to the adventure town of Moab, nestled amid stunning red rock landscapes. Here, you’ll have time to explore local shops, browse Southwest-inspired art galleries, and enjoy dinner on your own before returning to Moab Springs Ranch for the evening.
Note: Please be aware that, depending on weather conditions along the Delicate Arch trail, we may opt for an alternative hike, such as the Corona Arch or another scenic trail. Safety is our top priority, and we’ll ensure a rewarding experience regardless of the conditions.
