Looking for a quick weekend getaway? We have the perfect adventure for you and your friends or family. Spend three unforgettable days in the Moab area as we explore two of Utah’s most spectacular National Parks – Arches & Canyonlands. Come prepared to get some dirt on your hiking boots as we explore this rugged and expansive landscape filled with some of the world’s most unique rock formations. Stay busy each day and relax in the evenings at one of Moab’s most stunning resorts – Red Cliff’s Lodge – nestled beneath towering canyon walls and overlooking the mighty Colorado River!
Today we will be introduced to some of the most incredible canyon vistas that span as far as the eye can see. Canyonlands – split into 3 distinct districts – provides some of Utah’s most impressive rock formations. We will explore the Island in the Sky District in addition to a stop at the amazing Dead Horse Point State Park for a famous view of the Colorado River. This evening we will arrive to our accommodation for an included dinner. This evening be sure to peek outside and enjoy the spectacular night skies of southern Utah.

This morning, enjoy a deluxe breakfast as you view the sunrise from the hotel’s back patio. Once loaded up on food and hot coffee, it’s time to begin our adventure for the day and explore Arches National Park for some awesome hikes and sightseeing. Arches is home to over 2,000 natural arches – the most found anywhere in the world. Plan on exploring the Devil’s Garden area of the park where we will see a wide assortment of arches including the longest in the park, Landscape Arch at 306 feet! This afternoon we will explore a bit more of the surrounding Moab area and spend some time in town. We will return to the hotel this evening for dinner and sunset along the Colorado River.
This morning you can enjoy another hot breakfast before we head back to Arches National Park to visit one of the most famous features in the entire National Park system – Delicate Arch! This hike leads you to one of the Southwest’s most iconic (and photogenic) rock formations. After we complete the hike, we will enjoy an included lunch before making our return trip to Salt Lake City!
Driving time: 4 Hours
